Infusion set with flow regulator

Specification:

Flow regulator up to 250 drips per hour

Drip chamber with filter

Tube length 170cm

Vented spike with air inlet filter

Y-connector

Clip clamp

Luer lock connector

Instruction for use:

1. Close clip clamp.
2. Remove protective cap from air-vented spike and pierce the spike into solution container.
3. Suspend container, fill the drip chamber to half by squeezing and releasing.
4. Do not fill completely the drip chamber.
5. Attach male luer lock connector to needle if IV needle is used for venipuncture.
6. Remove protective cap from needle by holding the needle upright.
7. Open clip clamp to allow solution to displace air entirely from the tubing and the needle.
8. Close clip clamp.
9. Perform venipuncture.
10. Start infusion by opening the clip clamp and adjusting the flow regulator
11. Use Y-injection port for supplementary medication.
