Infusion set with filter
The filter membrane used in the infusion set with filter is a nuclear pore membrane, which has a double-layer filtering medium, strong pollution absorption ability, regular and uniform filter pores, high filtration accuracy, no foreign object shedding, low drug adsorption, and strict classification of pore size. The appropriate pore size can be selected according to clinical needs: 5 μ m. 3 μ m. 2 μ m. 1.2 μ m. 0.2 μ M.
The drugs that are suggested to be infused with infusion sets with filter
Drug types | Names of drugs | Reasons to use infusion sets with filter (precision IV sets) | Filter specification |
Enzyme preparations | Imiximab for injection | As this product is a protein solution, there may occasionally be slight flocculation (i.e. the formation of slightly opaque fibers) after release. | 0.2mm |
Anti-rheumatic drugs | Abalopram for injection | Granules may appear during drug preparation | 0.2μm-1.2μm |
Infliximab for injection | Infliximab is a protein and there might be some translucent particles in the solution | Pore size ≤1.2μm
lactase | β-lactase A for injection | Granules may appear during drug preparation | 0.2μm |
Immunosuppressant | Rabbit anti human thymocyte immunoglobulin for injection | Granules may appear during drug preparation | 0.2μm |
Digestive system drugs | lansoprazole for injection | Sediments may be generated during the infusion process | 1.2μm |
Anticoagulant drugs | Esoprostol Sodium | Granules may appear during drug preparation | 0.22μm |
Diuretic | Mannitol injection | Mannitol is prone to crystallization when cooled or when its concentration exceeds 15% | IV sets with filtration shall be used |
Ophthalmic drugs | Verteporfin | Sediments may appear after dispensing | 1.2μm |
Hyaluronidase powder | Sediments may appear after dispensing | 5μm

busulfan injection | Granular substances may appear after drug dilution | 5μm
Cetuximab Solution for Infusion | The medication may contain white visible amorphous particles related to the product | Microporous filter of 0.2μm or 0.22μm |
